Heritage Heights

Heritage Heights is a 24-acre planned community situated between Gladiolus Drive and Summerlin Road in the Harlem Heights area of south Fort Myers. Planned for 150 single-family and multi-family homes surrounding the community lake, the first 12 families will move in by early 2021.

The three- and four-bedroom designs will range from 1,250 to 1,500 square feet with amenities that promote social cohesion and community building.

Heritage Heights is strategically designed to improve the quality of life for residents by focusing on education, health and wellbeing, access to public resources, and economic opportunities:

  • With access to nearby quality healthcare and hospital facilities as well as nearby quality schools, Heritage Heights is situated conveniently to address two major quality of life factors: health and education (you can see Lee Health from the other side of the lake).
  • Centrally located, safe and affordable transportation options are another quality of life factor making Heritage Heights desirable for hard-working families
  • Heritage Heights offers neighborhood assets: shared spaces for social gatherings and recreational activities as well as landscaping buffers that instill a sense of personal and neighborhood safety

The ultimate outcome is improved quality of life…a sense of well-being and happiness that starts with families having a stable home and an affordable mortgage. The Habitat Partnership with the future homeowners of Heritage Heights creates a shared mindset and pride of place.

Heritage Heights, therefore, is an exclamation point on the transformation of Harlem Heights. It’s a lot easier when we work together as neighbors, as a neighborhood. Side by side we put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build these homes in this community of hope.
