The Wright Construction Group will donate materials and labor to build a Habitat home in Lee County during the first week of June. The donation is part of a nationwide effort called Builders Blitz. The project will allow affiliates like Lee County to increase their capacity by continuing with regular production schedules while professional builders organize and execute the blitz build.
   
Shadow Wood Community dedicated their 10th Habitat home they sponsored since 2003. The residents have held golf tournaments and auction fundraisers to contribute more than half a million dollars to Habitat for Humanity of Lee County. Publix Super Market Charities has contributed to Habitat's mission since 1996, giving more than $349,000. This year, Publix employees from 28 Lee County stores are volunteering to finish the home they raised in January. "We want to be a part of the construction of the home we sponsored from start to finish," says David Waring, District Manager for Publix Super Markets.
   
Every year, Best Buy gives up to 1.5% of pretax earnings through the Best Buy Children's Foundation to help strengthen communities. The company works with nonprofit organizations to support programs that provide opportunities for youth and positive experiences that will help them to excel in school, engage in their communities, and develop leadership skills.

Ferguson Enterprises
Ferguson Enterprises announced a nationwide partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The company is a supplier of plumbing and building products and will donate two toilets for every Habitat home built in the country during the next two years.
