Building on Faith

We’re kicking off another year of ‘building on faith’ in Lee County. The new build season officially kicked off in October 2007. Habitat plans to raise one faith-based sponsored home a month over the next year. Don’t miss out on the excitement of what multiple faiths in Lee County can do together!

First United Methodist Church of Cape Coral raised the first house of the campaign in October. The church raised $50,000 to sponsor a Habitat home. The congregation came out and built the structure they helped fund.
   
Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ sponsored two homes with Habitat for Humanity over the course of one year.

In February, the Presbyterian Churches raised a Habitat home as a part of the Building on Faith program. The churches partnered together to raise enough funding to sponsor the home they built.
