Habitat for Humanity of Lee County raised nearly $7000 from an Art Auction held Sunday at the North Fort Myers Yacht Club. More than a hundred buyers turned out for the fundraiser in order to raise money for the charity while browsing collectibles. North Star Yacht Club donated their facility to Habitat's event. Sports, music and entertainment memorabilia were on display as well as famed art collections. Habitat hopes to make the “wine & cheese”, poolside event a staple in their future fundraising efforts.
